My Journey

Ashok Tanwar, born on February 13, 2006, in India, is an independent music producer and artist driven by emotion, atmosphere, and sonic depth. From an early age, he demonstrated strong academic performance throughout his schooling years, maintaining excellence from 1st to 12th grade and graduating with 89%.

While academics shaped his discipline, music shaped his identity.

Deeply inspired by The Weeknd, Ashok developed an intense passion for music during his teenage years. What began as admiration gradually evolved into creative ambition. After completing his 12th grade, he began producing music seriously, exploring multiple genres including pop, reggae, hip-hop, and trap. Although these styles helped him understand production fundamentals, he felt something was missing.

A turning point came with the release of The Idol soundtrack, particularly the production style crafted by Mike Dean. The heavy analog synths, lush textures, cinematic organs, and deep Moog basslines reshaped Ashok’s artistic direction. He immersed himself in studying synthesizers, atmospheric layering, and emotionally driven sound design.

This shift defined his sound.

Moving toward darker, synth-heavy, immersive production, Ashok began building a distinct identity. One of his most recognized instrumentals, “Lost in Love,” became the most viewed beat on his YouTube channel, a track clearly influenced by the sonic aesthetics of The Weeknd and Mike Dean while still reflecting his own creative voice.

The release of Hurry Up Tomorrow further reinforced his commitment to evolving artistically and pushing beyond limitations. Inspired by bold production choices and expansive soundscapes, Ashok continues refining his craft, uploading consistently, and developing a catalog that blends cinematic emotion with modern synth-driven production.

Today, Ashok Tanwar focuses on creating immersive music built around atmosphere, depth, and powerful sonic storytelling always striving to elevate his sound with every release.
